Nearby Montemerano (330 metres above sea level) close to Terme di Saturnia, at the meeting point between the areas of the denomination of origin of Morellino di Scansano and Bianco di Pitigliano, both Maremma wines.

Grapes and fermentation
Controlled fermentation without the skins at the end of August, Grapes: Chardonnay.
 
Organoleptic exam
COLOUR: straw yellow with golden highlights.
AROMA: intense, aromatic with "golden" apple scent.
TASTE: dry, harmonious with good profile and full aftertaste.

Gastronomic combinations
It goes well with hors d'œuvres, soups, fish and white meat; it is a perfect aperitif and for any dish. Serve at 8-9° C.
